This is a reference for Clair BROWN
This annual training course has the main objective of helping organisations deepen their knowledge of the quality elements of E+ and ESC programmes and to give them tips and tools to use these programmes well with their target group.
The target audience for this training was: Organisations from French West Indies, French Guyana and Dutch Caribbean territories, with little or medium experience and with a desire to deepen their knowledge of essential elements of the programmes to ensure applications for and implementation of quality projects.
Years 2022-2024 3 trainers and staff from the French and Dutch NA
2025 - two trainers and NA staff
The dynamic activity programme annually included an introduction to developing quality projects as well as meeting local organisations from the territory who use these programmes in order to showcase good practice in the field of Erasmus+ and ESC. The course will also provide participants with practical input to help them further develop their project, involve local youth in future international projects, and will include the opportunity of participating organisations to share resources which they have developed. There will also be time set aside to reflect on participants own competence development, how to include local youth in ERASMUS+/ESC and make plans for future action plan implementing knowledge and skills developed throughout the training course. By participating in the TC youth organisations will gain knowledge valuable both for their entities, and their youth, the final indirect users of future projects created.
From this activity there was raised quality in the OCT and also numerous project applications in the forthcoming deadlines.
I was co-trainer, creating content delivering activities, facilitating learning and evaluating, recording and reporting results.
For the 2025 edition I was also responsible for arranging the logistics, hotel, transport, meals, cultural event etc as this was in my home location.
