Aims & objectives

Main aim of the training: Creating and providing a safe space for inter-religious dialogue.
Objectives:
- Establishing contact between people representing different religions and beliefs,
- Increasing knowledge in the field of interreligious dialogue,
- Increasing knowledge in project management and fundraising,
- Exchanging experience in the frame of living/acting in the conflict zones of the world.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants of the course were 85 young people from 74 different countries around the world.

Team of trainers and organizers: UK, France, Jordan, Egypt, Mexico, Argentina, Salvador.

Training methods used & main activities

Presentation, word-caffe, Open Space technology, energisers, team building games, work in the small groups, quizes.

Outcomes of the activity

ACWAY training course was rated very well by all participants. The participants appreciated and used the opportunity to meet nearly 100 people representing different religions and beliefs from all over the world.
A very important element of the training was inter-religious dialogue and lecture on the second day of training.

Particular attention is paid to the diversity of participants in the proposed workshops, including the possibility of conducting own workshops using the open space technology.
