Aims & objectives

As Lead Trainer to provide training and support to 50 young people from across the world, over 5 days. The objectives was to train the youth leaders on participation skills, leadership qualities as well as a range of community development tools.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

50 young people from across the world, with 5 trainers. I was the Lead Trainer for this activity.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal techniques such as group work, peer discussions, expert presentations as well as field study visits.

Outcomes of the activity

50 young people graduated from the training programme with evidenced greater understanding and skills on youth leadership to become 'Active Citizens!, they went on to deliver smaller programmes in their home countries and provided positive feedback.
