Aims & objectives

The 2nd EU Youth Conference of the 8th Cycle marks the transition between the Dialogue and the Implementation phase. Delegates were asked to prioritize and further elaborate on actions and measures that will serve as a toolbox to the implementation phase that will follow up to the Slovenian EU Youth conference expected to happen in autumn 2021.

The main goal of the Portuguese EU Youth Conference will be to provide a road map for decision-makers, youth organizations, and young people to work at local, national, and European levels during the implementation phase of the 8th Cycle of the EU Youth Dialogue.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

There were two training coordinators and a team of 7 facilitators, rapporteurs, volunteers, and tech-team.

Training methods used & main activities

All event sessions were based in NFE, but also discussion and round table moments, opinionAgora among other methods that engage participants' participation.

Outcomes of the activity

Ideas and measures contributing to attaining Youth Goal 9 targets at local, national, and European levels.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Create and facilitate the sessions for 40 youth leaders and decision-makers combined. That included the design of sessions and their' materials.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
