organised by Agency of Internation al Programs for Youth, which is the Latvian National Agency of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Pro gramme, in cooperation with the European Commission, the Latvian Ministries of Foreign Affai rs and of Education and Science

Aims & objectives

2nd Eastern Partnership Youth Forum 2015 is aiming to further develop the Eastern Partnership and Erasmus+ Programme countries' joint youth cooperation at project and policy level. It is hold to discuss and recommend innovative approaches to foster
young people's employability.
In this respect, the following elements were specifically addressed:
• Mobility and partnership programmes (by the European Union, Council of Europe, United
Nations and others);
• Cross-sectorial cooperation;
• Exchange of good practices (innovative approaches);
• Youth policy development.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

200 participants from the youth field - such as young people, youth workers, and representatives of youth organisations, youth ministries and youth research as well as representatives of the world of work

Training methods used & main activities

Learning space, discussions, group work, recommendations’ development, reality check.

Outcomes of the activity

One of the outcomes of the Forum was concrete recommendation that was also presented to high level policy makers at Eastern Partnership Summit. Furthermore participants exchanged their good practices in spheres of employability and youth work, establish new contacts and partnership.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Adopting program, developing employability tools for learning space, facilitating best practices sharing and recommendations’ development.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
