Educational pathway

My Law degree from UPJŠ in Košice provided me with a robust analytical and critical thinking framework, essential for dissecting complex issues. This academic background, surprisingly, offers a structured lens through which I approach the design and implementation of youth programs, ensuring they are well-founded and logically sound.

Since 2005, I've been deeply engaged in child and youth work, with a dedicated focus on non-formal education through the Youth in Action and Erasmus+ programs since 2010. This journey has been incredibly hands-on, encompassing the coordination of over 30 projects and serving as a trainer in 14. These roles have been invaluable, offering practical insights into the nuances of international youth collaboration, group dynamics, and effective facilitation. From managing logistics to navigating cultural differences and fostering diverse teams, I've gained a comprehensive understanding of what makes youth initiatives truly impactful.

Furthermore, a comprehensive traineeship in community organizing and leadership development significantly enhanced my ability to empower young people. This experience sharpened my skills in motivating groups, conflict resolution, and nurturing leadership potential, all vital for creating truly transformative learning environments.

For me, these experiences are absolutely fundamental. My formal education provides a structured, theoretical underpinning, while my extensive non-formal work offers the practical tools, real-world understanding, and nuanced empathy required to effectively facilitate learning and foster authentic youth development in diverse and dynamic settings. It's this unique blend that allows me to connect with participants, tailor educational approaches, and ultimately make a meaningful difference in their growth.
