Nunzio Soricaro

09/2013 – present
I currently work as a freelance trainer and facilitator collaborating with the French National Agency of the Erasmus + programme, for several NGOs and for the European Parliament.
Within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps, I'm in charge of designing and delivering training courses based on non-formal education methods targeting both volunteers and mentors.
I also support NGO's staff active in the youth field delivering trainings on the project and organizational management in order to increase the quality of staff work.
I'm particularly interested in the field of social entrepreneurship. I have conceived and led training courses related to competences of a social entrepreneur (ENTRECOMP), design a social business (Business Model Canvas and Impact Canvas), design thinking methodology.
I'm also supporting NGO in designing and developing projects (KA1 and KA2) in the field of youth and nonformal education. I have several experiences in international trainings in Europe and around the World. I have also been involved in the three capacity buildings in Eastern Africa, Latin America and Asia in the implementation of the activities in
order to run needs assessments and delivering training sessions. As a trainer and consultant, I have been responsible for designing and planning training proposals on gender equality and project management.
2009 - 2013
I have previously worked (5 years) with several NGOs as project manager in charge of the Youth in Action Programme focusing on Action 2, Action 3.1/4.3 and Action 3.2. My main task has been as follows:
- Designed managed and monitored European
projects
- Developed and followed-up institutional partnerships, organized meetings and participated in steering committees, networking seminars and field study visits
- Coordinated a pool of trainers in charge of designing and leading trainings on different subjects - Participated in the pool of experts of the French National Agency: review and evaluation of grant applications.
2010 - 2011
European Voluntary Service in Togo. Project related to women empowerment and gender equality.
