Youth Skills and Inclusion Hub / Future Center Kayseri

Empowering disadvantaged youth in Kayseri with skills, mentoring & EU cooperation. Looking for strong EU partners.

Background & Problem:
In Kayseri, youth unemployment and school drop-out rates are significantly high. This situation increases the risk of crime, substance abuse, and social exclusion among young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and migrant families.

Overall Goal:
The Youth and Future Center aims to empower young people through vocational training, digital skills development, psychosocial support, and mentoring programs. The project will strengthen their employability, improve social cohesion, and provide families with tools to support their children’s future.

Specific Objectives:
• Increase employability of young people aged 16–25.
• Provide one-to-one mentoring and guidance.
• Organize training programs in digital skills, foreign languages, and entrepreneurship.
• Establish psychosocial support mechanisms.
• Involve families in the process to strengthen community bonds.

Expected Results:
• At least 500 young people will benefit from education, mentoring, and support services.
• 40% of participants will find employment or return to education.
• Decrease in crime and substance abuse risks among youth.
• Kayseri will gain a sustainable model for youth policy in line with EU standards.

Proposed Partners:
• Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality
• Kayseri Governorship (Directorate of Family and Social Services, Migration Office)
• Erciyes University / Kayseri University
• One municipality or NGO from an EU Member State

Estimated Budget:
€750,000 (for 2 years, fully funded by EU programs)
