Youth Exchange in Istanbul

The main activity of this project is a cultural youth exchange between 16-30 years old.

This youth exchange will provide an opportunity for young people to deepen their knowledge of the world they live in, to see the contrast between West and East, South and North, to break stereotypes and to guide cultural diversity, to get rid of prejudices. Instead, they build friendships, explore their own cultures and keep valuable traditions alive, develop an appreciative attitude and arouse curiosity towards the cultures that surround them.

The main aim of this project is to develop the ability to see the unifying elements of cultural diversity and discover the meaning of cultural identity, to build tolerance, , to get to know diversity of European countries and its neighbours and their neighbors, to prevent the radicalization of young people and to promote solidarity, humanity, equality and mutual understanding.

The main activity of this project is a cultural youth exchange. This project will include 36 participants coming from different countries - Youth exchange will gather cultural activists, youngsters that have never been abroad or had a chance to participate in the international activity, that wish to fight for tolerance and solidarity in our society, youngsters that wish to deepen their knowledge and become cultural ambassadors.
The age frame have been set as followed 16-30 years old.
