Youth exchange "Eco(logical) Youth"

Call for partners for an 8-days youth exchange on topics of ecology and environmental protection that will be organized in Autumn 2024 in North Macedonia.

CET platforma Skopje is looking for partners for a project “Eco(logical) Youth” that is planning to submit to Macedonian National Agency on 20th of February 2024 deadline. The project is envisioned as 8-days youth exchange for young people and youth leaders coming from 6 European countries that will be organized in Autumn 2024 in Krushevo, North Macedonia.

N.B. Due to the new limit of partnerships in Erasmus+ programme, we can only accept partner organisations that are not already involved in 5 or more Mobility of young people (Youth exchanges) applications in the February 2024 deadline.

PROJECT SUMMARY:

The main aim of the youth exchange is to equip 37 young people and youth leaders from 6 European countries with environmental and sustainable practices and attitudes that empower them to actively engage in activities that protect the environment and promote the initiatives of the European Green Deal.

The youth exchange will focus on the topics of Ecology & Environment that will provide an enriching platform for young participants to explore, discuss, and actively engage in activities connected to protection of the environment and sustainability. Throughout the youth exchange, diverse activities will be implemented centered around biodiversity, human impact on the environment, nature, air pollution, and the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R’s).

Participants will be involved in interactive sessions, such as biodiversity scavenger hunts, creative land art projects, and engaging debates on air pollution. The program will also incorporate informative presentations, collaborative group activities, and hands-on experiences, fostering a sense of responsibility and awareness regarding ecological issues. The working methods will be based on non-formal, experiential and outdoor education.

Through the exchange, participants will gain insights into conservation strategies, environmental problems, and sustainable practices, preparing them to be advocates for positive change in their respective communities. The exchange will not only promote environmental education but also encourage cultural exchange, as participants will share ideas, learn from diverse perspectives, and collectively contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.
