You can Fight Back!!

The program by the title “You can Fight Back!!”, is a multilateral youth exchange, that is going to take place in Athens – Greece, in September of 2013, between the dates 09/09 – 16/09/2013, having 25 young participants from the EU countries (totally 5 countries).
This multilateral exchange, aims to moral and psychological boosting of the young participants, to the development of social behavior and attitudes that they are based upon tolerance, respect of diversity, fighting off racial and tribal behaviors, to total respect of human being, to free thought and free human expression.
Also, as aim of the project can be the location and the recognition of the false behavior and bad practices inside the school environment, in internet, into working area, inside the frames of the family, even into the internal function of a state and into the relations of the state and its citizens.
Presentations are going to take place, from every team, that they will expose problems such as the above, just like every team meets them inside their country. Discussions are going to be raised under the distinctive supervision and guidance of the team leaders, so the young participants would have the opportunity to express their problems.
Basic purpose of the program will be the registration of good practices and the quest of possible solutions so the young participants could confront such phenomenon. They will also do action planning having as a main purpose the wide updating of the youngsters, in matters such as, antisocial behavior, bullying of any kind, racism and social exclusion.
The exchange of personal experiences will work as a kind of psychotherapy method and will teach to the participants how to confront more effectively and with more self-confidence, these everyday situations that they torment our society.
Having as a fact and scientifically proved that situations as they have been already mentioned, they appear in societies with intense economical problems, with high levels of unemployment and where the state – providence is almost absent, we are going to give a special gravity to the return of people to the ethical values and virtues, as the only capable guide to a society of justice, equality, of equal chances, of tolerance and respect of diversity, to human being and dignity.
The methodology that is going to be used, is based in techniques of formal and non formal education. Through the participation of the youngsters in workshops, common activities – games in mixed groups, filling in questionnaires that they are properly designed and interactive discussions with the participation and guidance by special scientists such as Psychologists – Family Consultants, they are going to be called to give answers, to unlock themselves , to feel emotionally strong, to discover solutions against these modern problems, they will be able to realize their inner strength and they will empower their desire for the necessity of the existence of a better and more peaceful society.
