A youth exchange about FOOD! Key topics will be: food security and sustainability, healthy and sustainable lifestyles, enviornment and responsible eating!!
The project title is "WonderFood! Eat Responsibly, Live Actively" and it will take place in Tortona (Italy) in September 2015.
The exchange has been conceived, planned and will be fully written by an informal group of youngsters aged 16-19 with the support of the association La Fenice APS.
La Fenice is a youth association born in July 2012 from volunteers, youth workers and educators collaborating with the Youth Policies Office and Town Hall of Tortona in different educational and european projects (as group leaders, youth workers, project writers/implementers, etc.) since 2005/2006. Since 2012 we've been developing european projects autonomously, as well as other educational activities in the local schools and youth centre.

Number of countries: 5 (including Italy)
Participants per country: 8
Leaders per group: 2
Age of participants: 16-19 years old
Objective and aim of the exchange: to discuss different issues related to food security and sustainability, as well as to promote responsible eating and healthy lifestyles. Some of the activities foreseen for the project are: outdoor activities, role play on food and food waste, visits to local farms and to the EXPO, sustainable olympic games, orienteering, etc.
If you're interested in joining the project, send us back the filled (and signed) mandate and identification form no later than April 26th. We will then proceed with the definitive partner selection and inform you ASAP about it.
We would like to submit the project on april 30th deadline.
