Project "Women Supporting Their Families" - To Empower Breadwinner Women in Riyadh - Nouakchott
Project Idea:
A small-scale entrepreneurship project with a duration of 2 months**, aiming to empower 100 women who support their families alone in the Riyadh district, transforming them from aid-dependent to productive owners of sustainable small businesses.
Main Activities:
1. Intensive Training (2 Months):
Practical training in sewing and tailoring.
Simplified training in entrepreneurship: cost calculation, pricing, and savings.
Training in simple marketing via WhatsApp and Facebook.
2. Starter Kit for Each Beneficiary:
A cash grant of $200** as initial capital to buy supplies and start the project.
Distribution of fabrics and sewing supplies to start production immediately after training.
Certificate of participation and incentive prizes for top performers to ensure continuity.
3. Mentoring and Market Access:
Field follow-up of beneficiaries during and after training.
Organizing exploratory tours to the capital's market to learn about fabric types, prices, and customer needs.
Organizing an open day to display and sell the beneficiaries' products.
Final Goal: Create 100 immediate small income-generating projects that ensure a stable income for women and help them support their families with dignity.
