WhAt is it good foR

The goal of this project is to break down the barriers between the young people of different nationalities in the Balkans that were caused by wars, educational system and influence of the media. Various forms of intolerance and stereotypes came as a consequence of the wars that occured in the last decade of the twentieth century. They are present even among the youth of these countries. One of the manifestations of intolerance is hate speech, which can be found in the press, on television, internet and verbal communication. Sadly, young people that grew up in the nineties were exposed to hate speech on daily basis.

First, the participants of this project should take part in a discussion/debate, and understand the difference between the historical facts and everything they have been told for the last twenty

years.

We want the participants to be aware of the historical justicies and injustices, so they would

preempt future conflicts, get rid of the prejudice, and raise tolerance to a higher level.

All of the activities will be held in the cities wich have serious war history, in authentic enviroment, because it will leave a strong effect on the participants and their future work.
