VULCANO - reinventing arts and crafts for new forms of enterpreneurship

Creativity, interculturality and sustainable entrepreneurship are the keywords of the project.
Participants will learn local traditional jobs that have been preserved by old craftsmen or re-actualized by young entrepreneur. The exchange connects the themes of sustainability, economic crisis and cultural heritage: young people can take new job opportunities from the past and create original ways to re-invent sustainable jobs founded on the respect of the habitat and traditions. Participants will learn practices and methods, instruments and techniques of some typical sicilian jobs (sartorial, food, leather crafts etc.).
