Training course for people working with youth who wish to share their experience of artistic education and learn about Animation as an educational tool.
Training course for youth workers, professionals of education, volunteers and youth leaders who wish to share their experience in the field of artistic education and learn about animation as an educational tool. The course will provide a hands-on experience for the participants by giving the opportunity to experiment and create their own optical toys and short animations. This guided practical activity will enable and encourage the participants to apply new skills in their daily work with young people. Other important component of the course is dedicated to sharing the experience of working with young people and presenting different methods used by participants. Finally, we aim to encourage participants to discover the opportunities of Erasmus+ programme as well as to facilitate the building of partnerships for the future projects.
Target group
The training is developed for people who are directly involved in working with youth (trainers, teachers, volunteers, youth leaders, youth workers) and would like to learn how to use animation as educational tool. Participants should already have experience of educating through arts. However we also accept youth workers who in spite of not having artistic experience are determined to introduce animation in their working context. We expect active involvement of the participants in the sessions of sharing their experience and reflecting about the methods of working with young people. The experience or interest in Erasmus+ programme (Youth in Action) is strongly appreciated, in order to encourage the contact making and building partnerships between the participants for the development of future projects.
