Project Summary; -Did you know that there are more than one million homeless children around the world? -Did you know that some homeless children live by themselves with no parents?They don’t have anyone to turn it to! Numbers of children become homeless and the case is increasing visibly with the big cities of the world.There are many reasons why children become homeless.Not all children are orphan.They might not necessarily be homeless or without families but who live a situations where there is no protection , supervision or direction from responsible adults.Increasingly, these children are the defenseless victims of brutal violence, sexual explotation, object neglect, chemical addiction and human rights violations. That’s why we think that we need be more aware of the case by exchanging knowledges and ideas.And, we should find some action to make more safety world for them.Because, homeless children are not simply at risk, most suffer specific physical, psychological and emotional damage. Project Title; They arein danger!
Date and Venue ; 20-26th August, 2011 Eskisehir, Turkey.
Target Group ; Municipalities, City Councils and Non-Governmental organizations,
youth groups,culture and art groups,e.t.c
Participants ; 5 people from each country (over 18 -25 ). Totally 8 countries.
Conditions ; Accommodation, board and programme costs will be financed through European Commission Youth in Action Programme (Action 4.3). Travel costs will be reimbursed in 70% (APEX Tarrifs). Organizations from all 27 EU member countries plus Liechtenstein , Norway and Iceland are eligible to take part.
