“The traditional crafts – through centuries to centuries”

Project Summary:
The project “The traditional crafts – through centuries to centuries” is a continuation to the successfully fulfilled project “The Mountain – a good place for knowing each other”. This time the aim is to gather young people in region, where the craftsmanship was and still is occupation for the native inhabitants. During the activities the youths will have the opportunity to learn more about the traditional handy crafts….
During the activites will be visited local crafts workshops for pottery, wood-carving, weaving, turnery, some small fabrics for production of wooden matterials etc. The participants will be acquainted in details with different types of producing the goods – souvenirs or for everyday use.
Above all during the project, it will be discussed the possibilities for sustainable preserving the crafts and the motivation of the young people to preserve the traditions and to develop the initiatives connected with traditional crafts.
