The future is in young generations' hands

As the citizens and socities of the globe, the thing we need is to understand each other better, respect our values and lifestyles and create a culture of living together in which we sustain the personal and social existence in a democratic perception. Just at that point, the objectives of our project are to lead the participants gain knowledge, skills and competences about the basic principles of democratic lifestyle, obtain the skills of expressing themselves, work with peers coming from disadvantaged background and support their social inclusion process to the society and lastly get the power to change the world by improving their own personal and social skills. Our participants who will implement the project actively at each stage will be university students at the age of 18-24. Each partner will select 6 youngster in their own venue in an objective way and these participants are supposed to perform these activities under the headings of preparatory, implementation, visibility and dissemination, assessment and sustainibility: As preparatory activities; creating mail facebook groups, preparing the film or presentation of "Democracy Experience of my Country", interviewing with local authorities, implementation activities including ice breaking activities, sharing the film or presentation of "Democracy Experience of my Country" with the participants, presentation and analyzing pf interviews, role playing activities, project night and visit old city Efes in the region of İzmir, and experience the direct democracy there. Then, preparing project e-book, project poster, filling the youthpass certificates will be the visibility and dissemination activities. Lastly, assessment activities include online polls, news related to the project in the local press, comments on facebook, and project notebook and final report. When considered all the activities to be implemented, it can be claimed that the project creates a lifelong learning environment using informal and practical learning methods such as research, analyse, apply polls, debate, prepare presentation and roleplay in relation with collaborative learning and working in teams.
At the end of the project all the participants will witness not only the democracy experiences of their own countries but also the experience of other partner countries, try to find common solutions to the common problems the youngsters have all around Europa and the world and lsatly contribute to create the culture of living in unity in the way of understanding and respecting each other. Moreover, each partner will contribute the vision of the associations they represent and enable their associations and countries to be known at international level. In general, our project will lead the youngsters get a more democratic lifestyle, gain the necessary knowledge, skills and competences to be used to change and improve their environment. In other words, the project will improve the situation all around the world with the help of the butterfly effect it creates on the youngster in the long term.
Lastly, our project will manage to get the Erasmus+ program and its priorites in th efield of youth recognised in the short term, and also in the long term it will help the program to reach its aims such as active participation of the youth, improving the democratic values, gaining competences in the transversial skills and it will be a good example.
