1. Project Summary

In the face of the dark design practices and algorithmic manipulations produced by digital transformation, this project aims to encourage young people to question their impulsive consumption and social acceptance misconceptions through critical media literacy, and to transform them from passive consumers to conscious, active participants.

2. Key Needs
 Exploitation of psychological biases through dark design and algorithmic manipulation
 Increase in impulsive consumption and unconscious debt.
 The equation of social acceptance with purchasing power.
 The weakening of privacy due to the growing digital footprint

3. Objectives

To increase young people’s awareness of impulsive consumption and early indebtedness
To address the social and emotional consequences of unnecessary consumption
To highlight the link between social inclusion and purchasing power
To examine identity tensions between consumerism and active citizenship
To strengthen young people’s agency by raising awareness of algorithmic influence, digital footprints, and the commercialization of personal data.

Day 3: Medialet (The Media Detective's Handbook
Day 4: Digital Citizenship Debate
Day 5:Redesigning Online-Shopping App Kitchen
Day 6:Dramatization of Bot Comments
5. Expected Outputs/Results
The project aims to strengthen young people's individual awareness through critical media literacy, to question their consumption-based perceptions of social acceptance, to increase their awareness of digital privacy and algorithms, and to offer a model that can be transferred to local and international youth work through the developed methods.
