Smart Care Skills

ONLY COORDINATOR NEEDED: Erasmus+ KA220 Youth project on digital & AI skills to boost employability of young healthcare students and workers

SmartCare Skills – Digital Literacy and AI for a Human-Centered Healthcare is an Erasmus+ KA220-YOUTH project idea promoted by Euside.

The project aims to strengthen the digital readiness and employability of young people in healthcare by equipping students and early-career professionals with transversal competences in digital literacy and basic AI applications.

Key objectives include:

Training in essential digital skills (telemedicine, data management, electronic health records, digital ethics).

Introducing AI fundamentals for healthcare, including responsible use, data analysis, and ethical/legal implications.

Providing modular e-learning resources (platform, videos, PDFs) accessible across diverse healthcare disciplines.

Piloting the SmartCare learning tools with students and young professionals to ensure relevance and usability.

Target groups are medical and nursing students, psychologists, physiotherapists, social and long-term care workers preparing to enter a rapidly transforming sector.

The project responds to the documented skills gap identified by WHO and European studies, highlighting the urgent need for structured digital and AI training in healthcare education.

Expected impact: improved digital and AI competencies for young healthcare professionals, increased employability, and contribution to a more resilient and future-ready health workforce.

We are currently looking only for a coordinator with strong Erasmus+ project management expertise to lead the consortium and ensure high-quality implementation.
