SIA: Social Inclusion Advocates

In response to the evolving demographic landscape, "SIA" is a training course to empower youth workers with the skillsto champion social inclusion.

In response to the evolving demographic landscape, including the increasing number of refugees "SIA: Social Inclusion Advocates" is a training course designed to empower youth workers and organizations with the skills and knowledge needed to champion social inclusion.

Aim:
The aim of "SIA: Social Inclusion Advocates" is to equip youth workers and organizations to be effective advocates for social inclusion in their communities and projects. We aspire to create a network of individuals and organizations dedicated to breaking down barriers and building inclusive environments.

Objectives:
- Enhance the capacity of youth workers to understand and address the diverse barriers faced by individuals with fewer opportunities, including refugees and migrants.
- Promote inclusive practices within youth work, ensuring that projects and activities are accessible to participants from a variety of backgrounds.
- Contribute to implementation of EU strategy, focusing on inclusion and diversity, and ensuring equal opportunities and access.

The project will gather 30 participants from 8 countries for 6 day training course full of activities strenghtening social inclusion and learning about invovlement.

Each partner is expected to find 4 members/volunteers/youth workers for this training course.

Training course is expected to take place from 24th till 31st of October, 2024.
