Our vision is to achieve our goal in promoting citizenship and democracy through intercultural dialogue; enhancing youth leadership and their role in generating social and political changes.

In 25 Jan. Revolution, the Egyptian youth have proved to the world that they have a voice and are positive enough to change the world, the political, social and cultural life started to be refreshed once again in the country.

The political and other social mobilizations in the region have demonstrated that youth and civil society are eager for more freedom, social change, and consolidation of democratic values within their respective societies.

Everyone has a high motive now to express and talk and say his/her opinion, however, it was so notable that many people lack the ability to express in the right way.
Also, the contemporary events that take place everyday proves that our society is still suffers from the lack of state of dialogue between its citizens who have different backgrounds and ideologies.

Focusing on the role of civil society and its great impact on youth, our goal is to help in promoting citizenship and democracy through intercultural dialogue; enhancing youth leadership and their role in generating social and political changes.

For a quick view about the project, in phase 1 (2011-2012) the Swedish institute in Alexandria was our partner and the project contained workshops, debates and sessions.

Phase 1 was only for Egyptians, but in phase 2 we are thinking about expanding and getting participants and speakers from other countries.
