Proud volunteers dor solidarity 5

We are still searching for 6 out of 14 volunteers form EU countries to work in educational institutions.

In this activity, participants will be involved in the daily life of educational institutions by running activities on language
learning (English and participants’ native languages) and their culture as well as activities according to their interests (e.g.
theatrical and music performances, handicrafts workshops, etc.) and the needs of the institution (e.g. activities focused on
supporting children’s autonomy), supporting the staff in helping to arrange rooms after activities, assisting children in selfhelp
activities, playing games with children under the supervision of a tutor, teacher, or an assistant, going on trips and
participating in meetings with parents. The activity will include participants from and outside of the EU, from different
social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
Participants will carry out the following tasks:
- getting to know the principles and rules of an institution, teacher’s tasks, and specifics of working with children
- establishing friendly relationships with the staff through integration meetings and daily work together
- building friendly relationships with children through play and learning to respond to their needs accordingly and

mother tongue
