Play Like A Scientist

Curtain up, we are going to be theatrical scientists! We aim to put on a play about some scientists' lives to notice who should be our influencers.

In our times, new generations cannot even imagine the times we did not have the Internet. However, since they can easily reach any information, they may not distinguish the accurate and required information while doing research. Thus, we think that this easiness and plenitude of information may induce a lack of motivation for students to do research. Moreover, they may not know what scientists encountered and how they found what they found before the Internet. Also, it sometimes seems quite utopic to be a scientist. We aim to motivate participants for research and show them anyone can be a scientist. We plan to put on a play about some scientists' lives to achieve our goal. We hope that you like our project idea, and we can establish an efficient partnership.

Project overview

Play Like A Scientist is a project by
GENÇ ZİHİN DERNEĞİ
taking place
from 2021-09 till 2021-09
This project relates to:
Youth Exchanges, Training and Networking
and is focusing on:
  • Art
  • Drama and theatre
  • Intercultural dialogue
This project can include young people with fewer opportunities like
  • Social obstacles
  • Economic obstacles
Since the scenario we are writing will be adaptable and easy to perform with affordable decoration, costumes, and equipment, it will be possible to put on the play again in their cities for all participants during dissemination. Other than that, we will not seek for experience in theatre or birth-skills for acting. In fact, we want to include anyone so that participants can also improve themselves socially. Thus, neither the roles nor the storyline will be complicated. Also, the play lengths will not be more than 20 minutes. In these ways, we hope to include people with socially or economically fewer opportunities thoroughly.
