PING PONG !

Created in 2000, La Ménagerie is a collective of artists and technicians who are fond of animation cinema and gathered around a common sensibility. The organisation promotes artistic creation as a social link, a breeding ground for cultural exchange and a privileged educational material. All year long we carry along awareness-raising activities and training courses by means of animated movie-workshops, creating shows, developing creation and digital tools. We do host professional animated film shoots, shows and we also organize outdoors animated film shoots and exhibitions...

WHY THIS KA2 PROJECT ?

As part of a European project, La Ménagerie wishes to work on the collaborative artistic and cultural projects. The configuration and partnership of this type of project to study the issues and define the possibilities of remote joint creations despite the pandemic, containment to maintain a link between different regions and cultures constituting Europe.
La Ménagerie therefore would like to put their skills to good use by contributing in a project aiming at sharing knowledge and collaborating on new actions. This training intends to raise youth and social workers competence level and to enable them to implement quality educational actions. The opportunity is also given through Erasmus + to develop new tools and to improve European cooperation in the field of intercultural dialogue and non formal education.

A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO LINK IDEA TO PROPOSITION

We already have different ideas to develop through KA2 project :

1. PERFORMING ART OF STOP MOTION IN A EUROPEAN COLLABORATION :

We develop new digital tools for stop motion (http://bakuanimation.com/) it’s a collaborative platform for creating animated films. This site offers tutorials and information for creating your first film.) From this tool , we would like to invent a form of collaboration to create a movie which gathers youth from different countries in Europe.
Participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the new software. designed to be a collaborative creation tool allowing to create a complete stop motion film directly on a web platform. The participants will thus have the opportunity to test this educational and interactive software in order to foresee its creative potential of mobility and virtual exchange.

2. A BOOKLET TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE NEEDS AND IMPACTS FOR ARTISTIC COLLABORATION IN EUROPE

By using different artistic practices in link with the image (photography, video, animation cinema) we want to gather partners around a common project to question the collaborative work with different audiences using animated cinema and other art. It can be different kind of partners :

● Partners in relation to language and culture in order to create together despite the language
and / or culture barrier.
● Partners welcoming audiences of different generations in order to make a joint creation
between two groups of different generations.
● Partners welcoming people with various disabilities in order to approach a collaborative project while passing the barrier of disability.
● Partners respond to different geographic challenges in order to gather young people from different backgrounds in order to create collaborative art work.
● Partners with technical skills
