Call for Partners: NutriLife - Game-Based Learning for Healthy Living

We are looking for two types of expert partners for an Erasmus+ project, KEY ACTION 2.

The partners should have experience and results in one or more of the following areas:
• Nutrition and health education;
OR
• Game development, particularly educational or serious games – Unreal Engine environment;

Project Description: NutriLife aims to innovate nutrition and health education among adults and young people through innovative digital tools. The project focuses on developing an interactive e-learning platform and an engaging video game to teach young people and adults about healthy lifestyle practices. The initiative strives to make learning about nutrition accessible, enjoyable, and impactful, using game-based learning to reach a diverse audience.

Objectives:
• To educate adults about the importance of nutrition and healthy living through a game-based learning platform.
• To develop and disseminate a video game that combines fun gameplay with educational content on healthy lifestyle choices.
• To foster knowledge and understanding about balanced diets, debunking myths related to extreme diets.
• To enhance digital literacy and learning accessibility among adult learners.

What we are looking for
We are seeking partners who are passionate about adult and youth education, digital learning, nutrition, and health and have the proved competences in nutrition or game development (Unreal Engine). The partners should have experience in one of the following areas:
• Nutrition and health education;
OR
• Game development, particularly educational or serious games built in Unreal Engine

PARTNER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contribute to the development and content creation for the e-learning platform and video game working based on the expertise in NUTRION or VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT
• Assist in testing and providing feedback on the digital tools.
• Help in the promotion and dissemination of the project outcomes.
• Engage local communities and networks to maximize the impact of the project.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborative activities etc.

HOW TO APPLY
Interested organizations should submit a brief description of their experience in the relevant fields, along with their motivation for joining the project. Please include any previous projects or initiatives that demonstrate your capabilities in these areas.

ESSENTIAL CONDITIONS FOR THE PARTNER EXPERT IN NUTRITION
It is crucial that interested organizations have proven experience in the field of nutrition, including access to or collaboration with certified physician-nutritionists. This expertise is vital for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the educational content we aim to deliver.

ESSENTIAL CONDITIONS FOR THE PARTNER DEVELOPER FOR UNREAL ENGINE BLUEPRINTS
1. Core requirements:
• Experience with Unreal Engine;
• Experience with Blueprints visual scripting and UMG.
2. Nice to have (any of the following will provide you with an advantage):
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine's Material Editor & Shaders overall, with or without HLSL;
• Experience and/or knowledge on skinning & animation, and their pipeline for Unreal Engine 4;
• Familiarity/Experience in Unreal Engine's Cascade/Niagara VFX tools.
• Experience and/or familiarity with Sound Effects and FL Studio DAW.
