Our idea is to develop a special education training to qualify young disadvantaged people in the field of catering, which can be recognized in Europe.
In Germany we are very successful in qualification/ apprenticeship, because of our education system “ dual training”.
Our institution have more than thirty years’ experience working in apprenticeship/training with disadvantaged young people/ adolescents . ( young people with intellectual disabilities, migrants, refugees, social problems… )
We have a special concept to educate these groups and help them to finish their apprenticeship/ qualification with success.
In our country we have a foreseeable lack of younger ( and older) skilled labour in the field of catering.
Most of the countries in Europe have a very high level of youth unemployment, unemployment of young adults. In most of the European countries there is also skills shortage in the field of catering. Working requirements in a restaurant or hotel are very similar in Europe. Our idea is to develop a special education training to qualify young disadvantaged people in the field of catering, which can be recognized in Europe.
Therefore, we offer this special training concept we use in Germany to all of you. Together with our partners in the strategic partnership we will find out which part of the training must be modified , to get used in their countries, what must be modified for the target group.( for example: more practical lessons, language unbound elements,). How is the training/ apprenticeship in the county of the partners? How does it work? Which parts are transferable? Which skills are necessary in the modern labour market?
We develop a special learning software for the target group in English, German, Spanish, Greece….
We looking for possibilities to test this training with the target group in our countries. In addition we develop special methods to learn language skills.
Our aim is to develop a training for disadvantaged young people which will be recognized in Europe. ( EQAVET, ECVET)
