About us
AVM gGmbH is a certified 100% public communal company and was established in 1979 as a non-profit organization in the social sector. Our corporate purpose is to care for needy people, social services and vocational education for underprivileged adolescents and educational training for unemployed adults. In 2014 we had a have a total staff of 95 employees.
Our work
We provide a range of cultural services for local community, the public sector and learning bodies. These services range from trainings to Supply of temporary workers.
Youth:
• Activating and Qualifying (Q&B)
o Project for unprivileged adolescents
o school leaving certificate
o helping clients to develop the knowledge, skills, character and habits needed to succeed in the labour market and the competitive world beyond.
• school social work
o School social workers are an integral link between school, home, and community in helping students achieve academic success. They work directly with school administrations as well as students and families, providing leadership in forming school discipline policies, mental health intervention, crisis management, and support services. As part of an interdisciplinary team to help students succeed, social workers also facilitate community involvement in the schools while advocating for student success.
• 3-year until 3 ½ vocational education for underprivileged/handicaped adolescents in our own factory/own restaurant:
o Metalworker
o Cook
o Waitress
