Nature and Sport: Orienteering

We aim to bring together young people from another countries in Istanbul forests through a nature sport, orienteering.

We, as Young Intelligence Association from the East Coast of Turkey, aim to bring eastern and western cultures together in the midpoint of these two, Istanbul. Nowadays, nature loses it's attractiveness and people are tend to spend more time in closed areas because people are not completely aware of the activities that can be done in the nature. We want to raise an idea of activity that can be done in nature with friends, it is orienteering.

Project will be realized in Istanbul forests with professional trainers. Every team will be controlled by 2 trainers.

Please consider gender balance and age limitation (between 18-25).

Participants should have an experience about sports because the project will take place in nature and it is reqired for the safety.

During these activities, we include some sort of cultural trips around city center.

We give priority to young people from the places that have limited opportunities especially at sports. But also the participants must have small experiences at any area of sports. Because they should have physical qualifications.
