Meet, Make, Move: Bridging EA and EU through Youth-Led Virtual Exchange

3Ms – Meet, Make, Move: Bridging the Gap between East Africa and Europe through Youth-Led Virtual Exchanges
is a project proposal under Erasmus+ Virtual Exchanges (ERASMUS-EDU-2025-VIRT-EXCH) aiming to empower young people aged 18–30 by bridging digital divides, boosting employability, and fostering intercultural understanding.

Bringing together partners from European Union member states and East African countries (especially Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda), the initiative seeks to create a transcontinental space for structured virtual exchange and capacity-building activities that promote mutual learning and youth engagement.

Built around the slogan “Meet, Make, Move”, the project consists of three phases: Meet – connecting young people through intercultural dialogues and live sessions; Make – co-developing solutions through team-based projects addressing local and global challenges; Move – showcasing innovative ideas and youth-led actions through virtual exhibitions and competitions

Key components include:
Development of digital learning content focusing on digital transformation, civic participation, and inclusion. Creation of a sustainable, mobile-friendly Learning Management System (LMS). Training of 100 facilitators from academia and civil society. Four rounds of youth-led virtual exchanges involving over 2,500 participants and generating more than 500 youth-driven initiatives

Who are we looking for?
-We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced partners from both Europe and East Africa, especially from Kenya and Tanzania. Ideal partners include universities, youth-focused NGOs, and institutions working in the fields of digital learning, youth work, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, or internationalisation.
-Partners should have strong English communication skills, an openness to virtual collaboration, and a shared passion for empowering young people. Let’s Meet, Make, and Move – together!
