A flexible project that focusses on the link between Non-formal-Learning, Adventure based activities in nature, coaching and training.
A project that focusses on training, teambuilding and coaching of a group of challenged teenagers. Training them to use nature as a tool and a method to gain usefull experience-based insights. With a 3-4 day camping experience at the center of the project we try to bring meaningfull opportunities to grow as a group as well as individual.
Target group:
A group of youngsters/teenagers between 18y and 30y
who are willing to learn new things outside.
about 10 youths in total (not exact)
+ some extra trainers/youthworkers/guides
Partner request:
A partner who can provide a group of teenagers, and with some experience in writing Erasmus+projects.
Project is structured in a couple of phases:
1. Meeting up/getting to know partners/writing project itself: 3-4x online meet
2. Preparatory visit (1 day) : at your local youth club/habitat for the teenagers: aim: getting to know each other + familiarising with nature based techniques.
3. Training itself: about 3-4 days camping and outdoor learning in Belgium. Bushcraft-camp in the local Forest near Leuven.
4. Evaluation phase with feedback/recap and captured growth methods. (1x online + 1x meet at your local youth center for final reflections)
Project Dates: I can start up the project somewhere in august / september. writing and submitting the project in oktober. Preparatory metting in january/february and the main camp in april.
