The main objective of the project is to involve 4 young volunteers , on a period of 6 months, in non-formal activities, in order to reduce marginalization.

The project starts on 01.07.2014 and ends on 31.04.2015; the volunteers’ stage will be 6 months long, from 01.09.2014 to 28.02.2015.
The place where the project takes place: Marasesti town, Vrancea county.
Asociatia Voluntariat pentru Viata has as a purpose promoting non-formal education through different activities and training youth workers.
The aim of the project is to increase the community involvement in the extracurricular education of children aged 6 to 14 years, in order to reduce marginalization.
The main objective of the project is to involve 4 young volunteers , on a period of 6 months, in non-formal activities, in 3 elementary and middle schools and in the Children Social Centre from Marasesti, in order to reduce marginalization, at the same time providing training for volunteer youth workers.
At the end of the project the 4 volunteers will also gain knowledge about the Romanian culture, traditions, customs, gastronomy.
Project activities: leisure activities, handmade activities, sports activities, transferring English knowledge through non-formal education methods.
The volunteers will participate at intercultural evenings, they will visit local historical monuments, some bio-agricultural farms, and they will also meet some inhabitants from the rural area of the town so that they can get acquainted to some ancient traditions and customs that have been preserved till nowadays.
Methods used: workshops, the gallery method, exhibitions, debates, team-building games, roundtable method, role-playing games, get-acquainted games, energizers.
