KA220 VET Project

Tophane CoVE seeks an experienced coordinator for an Erasmus+ KA220 VET project on mental well-being and burnout prevention in vocational education.

Background & Rationale

Vocational high school students in manufacturing-oriented fields such as machinery, industrial production, and manufacturing technologies are exposed to high levels of physical, cognitive, and emotional stress. Intensive workshop practices, machine-based learning environments, and long internship periods increase the risk of stress, anxiety, and early burnout.

Despite the growing importance of mental well-being in education, structured and sector-specific mental health support models for VET learners—especially those working with machine tools—remain limited. There is a clear need for preventive, practical, and scalable approaches integrated directly into VET systems.

As a Sectoral Center of Vocational Excellence, Tophane CoVE aims to address this gap through a strong European cooperation partnership.

Project Aim

To strengthen the mental well-being, resilience, and stress management capacities of VET students in manufacturing-related fields, while supporting teachers, trainers, and companies with preventive and sustainable tools.

Call for Coordinator

At this stage, Tophane CoVE is urgently seeking an experienced coordinating organisation with strong Erasmus+ KA220 management capacity, preferably a university or an established VET institution. Project content, pilot sites, and field activities are already prepared.
