InfoLiterate – Dive into the Information Space is an international Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project bringing together young people from six countries to strengthen their information literacy, critical thinking, and digital competences in the context of rapid digitalisation and artificial intelligence.

The project responds to the growing challenge of misinformation, algorithm-driven content, and the lack of critical analysis skills among young people navigating today’s complex information environment. Through a 9-day youth exchange in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, participants will engage in non-formal, experiential learning activities focused on recognising disinformation, verifying sources, understanding algorithms and AI-generated content, and creating responsible digital media.

Using interactive methods such as simulations, role plays, debates, hands-on workshops, and intercultural exchange activities, the project will provide a safe and inclusive learning space for 48 young people, including participants with fewer opportunities. Beyond the exchange itself, the project aims to empower participants to act as ambassadors of information literacy in their local communities through dissemination activities, digital content creation, and peer learning initiatives.

InfoLiterate contributes to strengthening democratic values, active citizenship, and youth participation by equipping young people with the skills needed to navigate the information space responsibly and confidently in the digital age.
