Island Explorer - Youth Exchange only for SCOUTS!

Island Explorer will challenge SCOUTS to travel around Malta and its history while discussing relevant youth and EU issues; such as social media and diversity.

Your Group is invited to participate in an international event which the Scout Association of Malta – St.Venera Scout Group will be organising next summer (Aug 2018) under the Erasmus + programme, called:

<<<<< ISLAND EXPLORER >>>>>

An outdoor camping adventure that will give the youths a good taste of cultural, spiritual, freedom and EU rights within our communities. During the camp the youths will be visiting many interesting places, they will share their cultural values and religious beliefs while respecting other participant’s beliefs, culture and tradition. The programme is filled with scouting activities, fun workshops and numerous landmarks/museum explorations.

If you're a SCOUT group of around 20 interested members (aged between 13 to 30 years old), please proceed in reading the full invitation letter in the attachments below.

Any interested SCOUT group is to send us their interest by 10th June 2017 (Instructions how can be found on invitation letter). If your group is chosen to be a partner, we will submit the application together in October 2017 and we will know if the project is funded by January 2018.


NOTE
ONLY WOSM SCOUT GROUPS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Other youth organisations will not be accepted, sorry.

Age range between 13 to 30 years old. The partner group is to consist of around 20 members, supported by 3 leaders (18+ years of age). Scout Group and its national scout organisation need to be WOSM member.
