10 months international volunteering project: 3 months training in Denmark, 6 months volunteering in Africa or Asia, 1 final month of sesibilization in Denmark

Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone, immerse yourself in new cultures, and be a force for positive change? Join the International Volunteer Program by Humana Volunteers - a transformative 10-month journey where you’ll learn, collaborate, and contribute to sustainable long-term development projects. You’ll work hands-on with communities through impactful initiatives focused on: Education, Health, Community development and Sustainable agriculture .
10 month program structure:
3 Months – Training in Denmark: Build a strong foundation through training and preparation on development, inequalities, and practical skills with other international volunteers.
6 Months – International Volunteering: Contribute directly to long-term community-led projects in one of the following countries: India, Malawi, Zambia or Guinea-Bissau.
1 Month – Reflection & evaluation in Denmark: Reflect, evaluate and share your experiences.
Program Cost:
€3,500, with a scholarship opportunity to cover 85% of the cost. We believe volunteering shouldn’t be limited by finances - scholarships help ensure accessibility for all committed individuals.
Requirements:
• 18 years or older
• Able to speak, write and communicate in English
• Fully committed to the 10-month journey
• Have a passion for learning, collaborating, and creating a positive impact
