Founded in 1998, Humana People to People is part of a global humanitarian movement dedicated to promoting solidarity and sustainable development across the world. Active in more than 40 countries through a network of partner organizations, Humana works alongside local communities to create long-term solutions that improve lives.
At the heart of Humana’s mission is the belief that lasting change comes from empowering people. Through education, training, and capacity-building programs, the organization enables individuals and communities to develop the skills they need to shape their own future. Its projects span key areas such as education, health, sustainable agriculture, and environmental protection, often funded through innovative initiatives like the collection and reuse of second-hand clothing.
International Volunteering with Humana
Humana’s international volunteering program offers a unique opportunity to be part of this global impact. Volunteers engage in meaningful, hands-on experiences in countries across Africa and Asia, supporting community-driven projects while gaining intercultural understanding.
More than just volunteering, the program is a transformative journey. Participants collaborate with local communities, contribute to ongoing development efforts, and develop valuable personal and professional skills. It’s an experience rooted in solidarity, learning, and shared growth—where every action helps build a more just and sustainable world.
10 months international volunteering project: 3 months training in Denmark, 6 months volunteering in Africa or Asia, 1 final month of sesibilization in Denmark
