The topic of our EVS-project is society knowledge and how a Swedish municipality works with young adults that for some reason are not self-sufficient. After the EVS period the volunteer will have a broad knowledge of how we work with young adults. More often than less, these youngsters have a situation of fewer opportunities.

Fewer opportunities might consist of school/dropout, drug related issues in the past, criminal circumstances, negative social environment, social exclusion for some reason, foreign nationality, language problems, or just in the middle of choices.

In the project the aim is to reduce social exclusion and marginalization of young people. The volunteer will learn about themselves and their situation and how to change it to the better, for example how to write a CV and to prepare themselves for an interview. The volunteer will especially learn how to work with themselves in order to get motivated and prepared for studies and the labor market.
