The Partner-Finding Tool
Inclusion and Diversity in a youth Work setting training - sharing good practice examples of working with young people from ethnic minority backgrounds
This 3 day training will focus on examples of good practice in a youth work setting on how to deliver a inclusive and diverse service to young people from ethnic minority backgrounds. We will be sharing our work as a youth service that works with young people from the Irish Traveller Community.
We have developed a toolkit in which we help mainstream or universal services increase their engagement, retention and participation of young people from the Traveller community. This STATUS (Support Travellers Advance Through Universal Services) Toolkit provides a self-evaluation process for organisations to assess their own work practice. This toolkit can promote all levels of inclusion and diversity within your organisation.
