Improving the Quality of Accommodation Services in Coastal Tourism

Within the framework of EU standards; it is aimed to increase service quality of pensions/ boarding houses and small size enterprises included in tourism sector, to enhance quality standardisation, to use effective marketing techniques and to improve quality of human resources in the sector.
Within the scope of the project aiming to activate tourism potential in Yumurtalık and Karataş districts of Adana province and increasing the quality of tourism services in related districts, the followings are targeted:
- Training the owners and personnel of small size enterprises operating pensions and providing accommodation services
- Enhancing knowledge, experience and competence of trainers and experts working in the field of tourism services
- Increasing the experience and awareness of managers and personnel of public and local administrations.

Project Activities
- Organisation of courses by Public Training Centre about operation of pensions for pension operators and personnel
- Professional language training
- Overseas training and working visits (operation of pensions, destination management, developing eco-tourism strategy, learning good practice samples, professional language, etc.)
- Issuance of letter of instruction by the municipalities for opening and managing pensions
