Adana Governorship

According to Governor’s Office directive dated the establishment of Foreign Relations and the E.U. Coordination Center, to run on the basis of cooperation, communication and coordination was approved and it was put into effect throughout Adana. The Centre conducts national and international grant projects especially EU funded projects with other public institutions and NGOs with programme countries. The governance concept to be implemented through the accession process is seen as a social transformation project. It requires for the involvement of local authorities, NGOs, public organizations and institutions, the private sector and individual citizens. By this manner and method Adana will have taken the required initiative in creating a viable structure understood by all.
The Centre encourages to develop partnership among all the project offices of Provincial Directorates and other public bodies in Adana for national and EU projects. The Centre coordinates the activities for promotion of EU projects in the city. Besides this primary goal, the Centre organizes activities for increasing the awareness in EU grants and other possibilities in EU for local society and young people.if requested by the public and civil society organizations to assist in finding a partner to local government agencies, solve all kinds of problems.
