Green Artificial Intelligence: Environmental Responsibility in the Digital Age

This project is an Erasmus+ KA153 initiative aimed at enhancing the knowledge and pedagogical capacities of youth workers who work with young people aged 15–30 in disadvantaged areas regarding the environmental impacts of artificial intelligence technologies. The project addresses issues such as energy consumption, natural resource use, and carbon footprint of artificial intelligence from a youth work perspective. Within the framework of a 5 day international mobility, environmentally responsible digital approaches will be explored through non-formal, participatory learning methods. The project aims to establish partnerships with organisations that are active in the field of youth work, interested in digital literacy, environmental sustainability, or artificial intelligence and open to international cooperation. The main activity of the project will be implemented in Adana. The project is aligned with the Erasmus+ priorities on environmental sustainability and digital transformation.
