The main aim of the project Get Moving to Europe is to bring together young people and youth workers to reflect, share methodologies and best practice and effective solutions to the youth unemployment and drop out. The target group of this project is focused on youth with fewer opportunities, with migrant backgrounds, or in social exclusion risk. It also aims the intercultural dialog and active citizenship against prejudices. This project trains young people and youth workers by giving them more tools to get moving to Europe dimension through non-formal learning and how to mobilize private initiative and public authorities to actively support in the lives of young people with less opportunities.
The expected results of the project are as follows:
1. Prevention of the social exclusion among young people.
We promote opportunities and resources for young people who are at risk of exclusion, giving them the possibility to participate for youth exchanges, EVS and language courses.
2. Promotion of inter cultural dialogue and active citizenship among young people of the city, giving them a chance to more effectively interrelated social services, associations and youth.
3. Fight against high school dropout and youth unemployment through innovative projects.
We realize that we need new most attractive and efficient ways to fight against these two problems that seriously affect the quality of life of young people.
