The Partner-Finding Tool
The project will address the social and environmental issue of animal welfare and protection, and focus on volunteering and active citizenship
The main idea of the training is volunteering in animal welfare field, role of volunteers, ways to recruit them and skills matching to increase employability of young people. We will also focus on involvement of volunteers from disadvantaged groups (disabled people, migrants).
The objectives of the training are:
- improve competences, linked to professional profiles of participants
- increase awareness of volunteering in animal welfare organisations and ways to expand activities in this field (recruitment of volunteers, roles, skills matching, activity on local and international level)
-improve foreign language competence
-increase understanding of interconnections between formal and non-formal education, vocational training and the labour market respectively
-increase awareness of cultural diversity of Europe
- increase capacity of participating organisations to operate at international level
- To enhance opportunities for cooperation between youth organisations from Programme and Partner countries.
The training will be held in Lithuania, July-Aug 2016.
Selection criteria:
- Previous proofed experience in organising projects in the field of animal protection or environment.
- Those organisations which use OUR Identification form and answered all questions.
