The project is an international seminar on the topic of youth leadership for human rights, dialogue and tolerance.
he Jan Karski International Institute for Dialogue and Tolerance is looking for partners for an international seminar "Future-Past. Learning from history for a better tomorrow" on the topic of youth leadership for human rights, dialogue and tolerance. During the seminar volunteers and leaders coming from youth organization will search for answers to the following questions:
· Are human rights still up to date? Does the world still want them and need them?
· Who are the leaders of today? How can we create the leaders our future needs?
· Extremism, populism, phobias – where does this lead and how can we change the course?
· What educational methods can be used to support teaching of tolerance and respect for diversity and human rights in an innovative way?
· How can ERASMUS+ support the teaching of tolerance, respect and the development of young leaders?
The 4 day seminar is planned to take place in Katowice in Poland, from the 1st to the 4th of May 2014. Each group is invited to send 2 participants.
