From Youth Centers to Intercultural Centers

“From Youth Centers to Intercultural Centers” is about sharing experiences and best practices of NGOs on evolution of Youth Centers into Intercultural Centers.
The aim of “From Youth Centers to Intercultural Centers” is to define and share new approaches to develop an inclusive and intercultural civil society.
By making a comparison between European countries, that have lived for few years the multicultural dimension of the Youth world, and countries where the interculture constitutes "daily life", we want to start an exchange of good practices and educational models in order to facilitate the social inclusion of foreign youngsters.
Through Exchanges of good practice between the partners, we want to:
- identify possible paths for evolving youth centers into Intercultural Centers;
- give intercultural inputs to the existing Intercultural Centers;
- test a new model of Intercultural Center that can be able to become a place of exchange and comparison between communities reception and community of foreign citizens;
- promoting models of collaboration and active citizenship. A model ready to face up to the new challenges that immigration poses to Europe.
