‘FROM ROOTS TO FUTURE: Bridging Cultural Heritage with Young People’

In this project, young people from different countries will explore, reinterpret, and disseminate their traditional cultural heritage through storytelling, drama, music, dance, and digital tools.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- To raise awareness of intangible cultural heritage among young people
- To combine traditional storytelling with modern theater and digital tools
- To foster cultural diversity and strengthen European identity
- To archive and promote cultural heritage using innovative dissemination tools such as podcasts, blogs, and YouTube.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Traditional storytelling and drama workshops
- Cultural dance and music sessions
- Podcast & digital storytelling (audio recordings & blog)
- Final Event: Cultural Heritage Festival
PROFILE OF PARTNERS
-Youth organizations, municipalities, cultural institutions, or NGOs active in cultural heritage, arts, youth work, storytelling, theater, or digital content creation.
-Organizations working with young people aged 18-30 who are willing to participate in a youth exchange project.
- Experienced in Erasmus+ projects or open to participating in a youth exchange for the first time.
We are especially interested in partnering with organizations from the following countries:
-Spain – Flamenco, folk storytelling, local festivals
-Italy – Commedia dell’arte, folk music
-Greece – Ancient mythology, dance, oral storytelling traditions
-Hungary – Folk music and storytelling
- Poland – Slavic mythology, local theater traditions
-Georgia – Traditional dances, folklore
-Bulgaria – Kukeri festival, oral traditions

However, we are open to considering partners from other countries as well.

HOW TO APPLY?
Organizations interested in joining this project should submit a short Partnership Identification Form (PIF) asap, including:
- Organization Name & Country
- Experience in Erasmus+ and youth work
- Areas of contribution to this project
-Capacity to participate in a youth exchange
