FOLLOWING NATURE'S PATH: GREEN SKILLS FOR RURAL YOUTH

Coordinated by Salıpazarı Youth and Sports District Directorate, Erasmus+ KA152-YOU Youth Exchange Program.

In this project, which aims to bring our participating youth together in the unique nature of Salıpazarı, Samsun, Turkey, nature sports, environmental awareness, green skills, intercultural learning, and the participation of rural youth in social life will come together.

The project, which is planned to include 7 young people and 2 group leaders from each country, will have a total of 21 young people and 6 group leaders.

Throughout the project, our young people will:
They will participate in climate change and ecological literacy workshops,
They will do orienteering and nature walks,
They will learn about zero waste and environmentally friendly living practices,
They will digitally map the natural and cultural values ​​of Salıpazarı,
They will prepare podcasts, short videos and digital stories,
They will conduct collaborative projects with peers from different cultures,
They will prepare the Green Living Declaration of Rural Youth.

With this project, where sports will be used not as a competition but as a tool for widespread learning and intercultural communication, the aim is to improve the environmental awareness, self-confidence, communication skills and active citizenship capacity of young people living in rural areas
