Theme: Gender Equality (Égalité femmes-hommes)
In this exchange, the activities focus on:
Understanding what gender equality means.
Exploring the differences and inequalities that still exist in different countries.
Discussing stereotypes, sexism, and discrimination.
Empowering young people to become agents of change in their communities.
What do participants do?
Participants from 2 or more countries take part in:
Workshops on women’s rights, feminism, and equality.
Role-plays and debates about real-life situations.
Story sharing and testimonies from different cultures.
Art, theatre, or video projects to express ideas.
Cultural nights and fun group activities.
All the learning happens through non-formal education: that means it's not like school — it’s
interactive, creative, and based on participation.
Who participates?
Young people (14–17 years old)
Accompanied by youth leaders (18+) who help coordinate and support the group.
3 different countries.
Costs:
The Erasmus+ programme usually covers:
Travel costs (up to a certain amount)
Accommodation and food.
Activity costs.
Dates: 17
th to the 25st of July 2025
Venue: The accommodation will take place in the dormitories of the Lycée François Xavier.
This lycée is situated in the heart of Besancon and is fully equipped with all the necessities for youth
exchange.

Small description of the city of Besançon

and innovation. Birthplace of Victor Hugo, the famous French writer (Les Misérables, The Hunchback
